Christmas Advent Calendar

For those of you who remember last year, visit the 2004 advent calendar at the jolt website

For those of you that didn't:

Ahhh, it�s the Christmas season once again, and hasn�t it been a good time of year for gaming all-round? Well it�s going to get better because back by popular demand is our Christmas present hunt and now better than ever. There are lots of games, goodies and clan server subscriptions to be picked up, and at the very least a bit of Christmas cheer.

Taking part in our present hunt is dead easy. Just use the sniper scope to search our cheerful Advent Calendar image, and see if you can find the hidden present for the day. Every day brings a new present, and once you find it you can open it as many times as you like, you may get lucky and win a prize! You�ll also be treated to a brand new festive image in tribute to our favourite games, and you can also che.....

Bloodline LAN - Now with PCs...

There's less than 5 days to go until the Bloodline LAN starts on the 3^rd of December and it's now even easier for you to attend with Monitors and complete PC systems for rent. As a reminder the LAN features all these cool things:

Doom3 v1.1 Patch Released

Its arrived to fix those annoying glitches at last. You can grab it from our downloads page here.

Fixes & Updates in 1.1
================

GENERAL
- Querying a cvar (typing name with no value on the console) now also prints out help text
- Updated some cvar docs

STABILITY
- Fixed desktop crash when loading a QuickSave made when during influence in EPD Lab in Alphalabs 1
- Fixed game freezing if in-game MP menu is opened just after a change map vote
Passes and just before the map changes.
- Fixed duplicate player names shutting down a server during map changes

INTERFACE
- Fixed scrolling lists with arrow keys while holding control crashing game
- Added toggle functionality to movement commands (i.e. toggle crouch as opposed to holding the button down)
- Added in_toggle.....

Beta Patch 1.05

Beta testers (should be final) can grab the new Doom 3 update from our downloads section to enhance the game with various fixes.

They will be releasing another update in the near future when its fully tested and will include Punk Busters cheat protection functionality for DOOM III. The SDK is also ready to go and as soon as the update is out in non beta form the SDK will be made available for download. The Linux Dedicated server is also ready to go and will also be available as soon as the update is non beta.

Lots of changes are implemented but we'll wait till the actual release as there is a lot to list which may change.

Jolt / Pc Zone Doom 3 Tourna...

You think your pretty damn good at Doom 3, the game which has only been released for a few weeks. Then its time to prove yourself by showing your skill and luck at the New Jolt / PC Zone Doom 3 Tournaments.

Were holding two, that�s right Two Tournaments. The first being a One on One Knock Out competition, The Second being the same type of Knock Out competition but you�ll have a friend.

1 v 1 will commence on 6th of September, with signups beginning today and lasting until 15:00 on Sunday.

2 v 2 will commence on 6th of September also with signups being from today again until Sunday at 15:00.

The Format of the Tournaments will be shown to all participants as soon as the Registration Process has been finished.

There will be 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th places in the 1v1 Tournament with all prizes being taken from the Prize Pool.

With a 1st and 2nd place prize for the 2 v 2 Tournament. Again all prizes.....
